Despite great efforts from GeorgiaCarry.org, it is still illegal to carry a firearm, concealed or openly, in a place of worship.

You can follow the long battle GeorgiaCarry.org has been in here:  http://www.georgiacarry.org/cms/category/action-items/places-of-worship-carry-ban/

I thought in 2014 the state law changed to allow carry in churches. Please advise if i have this wrong.

HB60 (guns everywhere law) did pass and it allows it but the church has to approve firearms otherwise it is still illegal.
