Georgia Concealed Carry

We were informed by Elizabeth from Bullets and Batter (click here to visit her WordPress blog) of an incident at Harry’s Farmers Market in which a customer was asked to leave because her CC weapon was accidentally displayed and they noticed.  You can read the full story from the link at the bottom of this page.

In a nutshell, a customer reached for something that was higher up and accidentally exposed her concealed weapon.  Unfortunately an employee took notice and she was asked to leave by the store manager.

Harry’s Farmers Market is owned by Whole Foods, which is a known company that bans firearms from all their locations nation-wide.  Read our Whole Foods page for information on them.

Accidental exposure and clear printing is an issue we face every time we leave our homes.  Picking the perfect outfit is not always possible and the dangers of accidental exposure is a common reality.  Thankfully here in Georgia it’s not as risky to accidentally expose your weapon.  In some states this can land you in a lot of trouble with the police.  On the flip-side, picking the perfect holster for your outfit can also be a challenge, which is why most of us at GCC have numerous holsters.

We’re not sure if there are any signs displayed but if anyone see’s one, please Contact Us a picture and we’ll gladly add it to our website.

What can you do?

Contact Harry’s Farmers Market and ask them to reconsider their stand on banning firearms (although they will tell you it’s a corporate decision, not theirs.. but at least they will know that you disagree and they might contact their managers and tell them how many people have contacted them).  Phone numbers are located below under the Locations section.

Contact the Whole Foods corporate office and ask them to reconsider.

Visit their Facebook page and join in on the conversation in the “Recommendations” section.. their is a lot of activity regarding Harry’s and the Second Amendment.  Visit their Facebook page here: or

Stop shopping at Whole Foods and Harry’s Farmer Market.  Why support a company that doesn’t respect your right to defend yourself.

Please Note:  If you chose to contact anyone regarding their stand against firearms, please be polite.  Remember, you are representing all of us and as the old saying goes.. you can catch more flies with honey than with vinegar.
